Rep. Mary Still, D-Columbia, has been appointed deputy floor whip for the 95th General Assembly.

Her appointment comes from House Democratic Minority Whip Jeff Roorda, D-Barnhart.
In the position, Still will assist Roorda’s efforts to maintain communication between the leadership and members of the party and will keep track of and count votes on key legislation.
"I am honored to be entrusted by my colleagues with this important position," Still said. "As a deputy whip, I will fight for the right priorities of broadening our economy, improving education and expanding health care."
